About Our Staff

  • All childcare staff must have criminal reference check with a vulnerable sector search
  • All our staff must have a current certification in standard First Aid and CPR including infant and child CPR
  • All our staff is encouraged to participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and workshops with the assistance of the centre.
  • Our Registered Early Child Educator (RECE)must be a member in good standing with the college of Early Child Education.
  • Assistant Teaching Staff must have previous experience in the childcare setting, with related knowledge and trainings.
  • All staffs are trained to follow AODA (accessibility for Ontarians with Disability) act, and watched the York Region customer service Training video.
  • All staff must have a health assessment to identify any active communicable diseases or other infection risks prior to the starting of employment. Staff must also provide a record of up to date immunizations as required by the Health Department.

The Magic Kingdom Learning Centre has an open door policy, parents are welcome to use the hallway windows to view the classes in session.
