Release of a child

Children must always be accompanied by adult when in the Centre. Your child will only be released to a person or persons that are eighteen years old or older. Please call or email the Centre if any person other than the parent or guardian is picking up the child, specifying the person’s name, picking up date and the contact number of the person. The pickup person is required to provide a valid photo ID to sign out the child. Your child’s safety is important to us

Children that are not picked up by 7: 00 p. m – In situation when the Center is unable to reach out to the persons listed on the emergency contact form. We may contact Children’s Aid Society as last resort.

For safety reason, if a staff member deems that a parent or pick-up person is under the influence of alcohol or drugs when picking up the child, the staff may request alternative transportation or contact the local police.
